Tender description
Connecting Devon and Somerset (CDS) is a public sector programme supported by the Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and working with the broadband supply market to provide gigabit capable infrastructure across the CDS area, which comprises of 6 lot areas. This ITT is part of the CDS phase 2 with a second amount of public money, of up to 58 000 000 GBP, to further extend the NGA Network, on a gap-funding basis. The aim of this OJEU tender process is to competitively select a supplier to deliver the outcome specification detailed in the tender documents. Supplier note — suppliers should note that in order to express interest they must complete and return all documentation through ProContract. This lot covers North Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset Administrative areas and includes Bath and Weston-Super-Mare. This lot is located in Somerset, this lot covers Wells, Glastonbury and Burnham-on-Sea and includes the Mendip Hills. This lot is located in the north of Somerset adjacent to the Bristol Channel and Exmoor National Park and includes the Quantock Hills. The lot includes Taunton and Bridgwater and the new Hinkley C Power Station site. THis lot is located in the south of Somerset bordering Dorset and Devon and includes Yeovil, Wincanton, Langport, Crewkerne and Chard. This lot forms part of central Devon and borders Somerset, Exmoor National Park and Exeter. Runs along the East Devon coast from the Exe Estuary to Dorset. This Lot includes the East Devon AONB, part of the Blackdown Hills AONB and towns of Exmouth, Honiton, Sidmouth and the city of Exeter. This lot runs from the Exe Estuary and covers part of the South Devon coast. It runs along the coast, borders Dartmoor National Park, includes the towns of Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, Dawlish, Totnes, Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and includes the South Devon AONB.
