Sandwell Council is looking to appoint a Financial Systems Accountant with Oracle fusion financial implementation experience or general Oracle experience specifically in the Council. Candidates need to have working experience of Orcale R12 also. They need to be a full or part qualified accountant to support year end and month end processes. Candidates must have excellent Excel skills. The ideal candidate should have experience of working with at least one other local authority in the implementation of the oracle cloud financials, preferably as a systems accountant/systems administrator background. They need to have a qualified Accounting Technician or equivalent qualification and have at least 3 years' experience gained in a public sector financial management environment. This role is full time 37 hours per week and is based at 1 Providence Place, West Bromwich, B70 8SZ. The role is to start asap and is for 12 weeks initially. The rate of pay for this role is £18.03 per hour (PAYE). Candidates must be readily available for an interview with a view to start immediately.
