Retexturing Contract for National Roads Mayo 2020

Tender description

Mayo County Council (MCC) wishes to appoint a Contractor with appropriate skills and mechanical means to carry out a Retexturing Contract consisting of mechanical abrasion using high velocity impact and shot blast method. This work will take place in the following locations: • The N5 Castlebar-Westport Road at two locations (Derrylea and Claggernagh West), • The N5/N17 Interchange at Charlestown, • On both the N5/N17 Roundabouts at Ballyglass East, Charlestown, • On the N5/R373 Roundabout at Moneen Castlebar, • On the N17 Interchange at Clare, Claremorris, • On the N17 Mainline South of Kilkelly, on the N17/N60 Roundabout at Clare, Claremorris, • On the N26 Swinford to Foxford Rd at Cloongollaune, • On the N26 at Foxford Town, on the N26 in Ballina Town, • On the N60 in Claremorris Town in two locations, • On the N60 in Balla Town, • On the N60 in Castlebar Town, • On the N84 in Castlebar Town and on the N84 in Ballinrobe Town. There are two locations also where Water Jetting is the required treatment and they are located as follows: • on the N59 Bellacorrick to Crossmolina Rd West of Dooleeg and, • On the N59 Westport to Newport Rd at Derrynanaff. The location maps can be seen in Section 2 of the Project Works requirements. The quotation must include for Traffic Management and the acceptance of the role of Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage (PSCS).
