Tender description

A requirement exists for supply of the following Laboratory Service at the Marine Chemistry Section in the Marine Institute. Expertise is needed to carry out chemical testing of fish, shellfish and other matrices for heavy metals and other parameters. The service must be undertaken under conditions that are compliant with the Marine Institute ISO 17025 Quality System and in accordance with Standard Operating Protocols for contaminant testing in Seafood. For official samples for metal testing full analysis must be completed and reported by the MI within 48 hours of receipt of sample at the MI. Therefore, testing needs to be completed within the Marine Institute laboratories in Rinville, Oranmore. A detailed technical description is available in the attached Invitation to Tender document.
