Tender description

Lot A: Asbestos services — sampling and analysis of airbourne asbestos; inspections and surveys; bulk ID; paint surveying and sampling for lead; scanned electron microscopy (SEM) services; Lot B: Scientific services — covering other services such as workplace air monitoring, ventilation surveys, noise and vibration monitoring, gas diesel exhaust, water quality, PCB sampling, slip resistance. Lot A: Asbestos services — sampling and analysis of airbourne asbestos; inspections and surveys; bulk ID; paint surveying and sampling for lead; scanned electron microscopy (SEM) services; — planned work — awarded under the frameworks following mini competitions or direct awards for low value requirements, — reactive work including emergency on site attendance — to be included. A primary provider of emergency responses shall be selected under a mini competition at the outset of the framework term. Scientific services: covering other services such as workplace air monitoring, ventilation surveys, noise and vibration monitoring, gas and diesel exhaust monitoring, water quality — and PCB sampling, slip resistance, soil/ballast/shingle sampling and analysis, concrete coring and testing.
