BASICC Proposed Development of Digital Hub at The BASE Stranorlar

Ballybofey and Stranorlar Integrated Community Company was formed in 2006 to address the social, cultural and economic needs of the local area. BASICC’s committee is made up of local social entrepreneurs who are dedicated to achieving sustainable economic growth. The project to provide a Digital Hub is being undertaken in partnership with Donegal County Council and the Western Development Commission under funding from the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund. The works broadly include 1) Upgrading and re-arrangement of main entrance area at ground floor level. 2) Minor fire improvement works to first floor level. 3) Re-arrangement and fit out works at second floor level of the building including re-use of existing spaces and related areas for the specific intended use as a digital hub to include all upgrading works and service connections.
