Tender description

Network Rail intends to procure a framework agreement for civils examination services in respect of the following asset types across the UK: Structures: covering overline bridges, tunnels, foot bridges, side of line, Intersections, culverts, retaining walls, ancillary assets; Geo-technical: covering embankments, soil cuttings, rock cuttings and mixed soil and rock cuttings; Buildings: covering lineside buildings, operational buildings (e.g. stations, depots, signal boxes, ROCS etc.), medium to high voltage sites. In the forthcoming procurement exercise, Network Rail will be looking for proven or innovative solutions to deliver the examination services for the above asset types. In the forthcoming procurement exercise, Network Rail will be looking for proven or innovative solutions to deliver the examination services for the above asset types. In December 2019, Network Rail issued a PIN (2019/S 231-566539) to engage with the marketplace to assess the level of interest in the tender opportunity. The purpose of this PIN therefore is to provide prior information to the market of Network Rail’s intentions to procure such a framework agreement. This notice also provides an open invite to market consultation sessions to help shape Network Rail’s procurement strategy. As such Network Rail intends to hold market consultation sessions, via conference call appointments, face to face meetings, with suppliers prior to this procurement project. The market consultation calls/sessions are advertised openly using this notice. Appointments will be secured on a first come, first served basis, Interested parties should contact Arnold Lupunga: Arnold.Lupunga@networkrail.co.uk no later than 28.2.2020. Please note that this is not an invitation to tender, it is solely a market engagement exercise and no direct business will be awarded as a result of participating in this exercise. Further responding to this PIN will not in any way advantage or disadvantage any supplier in a future procurement exercise.
