19/066 - Single Party Framework for the provision of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)

Tender description

The Contracting Entity is undertaking a competitive tender process to establish a vendor to provide a commercial off the shelf (COTS) “Laboratory Information Management System” (LIMS) A cloud based solution is the IW preference, however, on premise solutions will be considered. This competition will cover two separate contracts. The first contract will cover the Supply, design, build, implementation, testing, data migration, and configuration, have the capability to integrate with analytical instruments and IW applications e.g. Line of Business (LOB) systems, documentation, training and licencing. The second contract will cover the licensing, maintenance and support of the system. The selected system will be capable of demonstrating compliance with the requirements of ISO 17025 and will have the ability to offer enterprise class reporting, business intelligence and reporting dashboards across all modules. The system will manage sampling across Ireland and the processing of approximately 250,000 samples per year and 1.8 million accredited tests per year. 1.
