Tender description

To supply power tools to transport for London to various service delivery locations. The framework contract duration will be 4 years with the option to extend for a further 4 years. Please note that this PIN is not a call for competition. This prior information notice is being used as a medium for Transport for London (TfL) to engage with interested parties prior to a call for competition in order to better understand the market capabilities. The requirement is to supply power tools to TfL but primarily to depot locations for the following fleets: Central, Victoria, Bakerloo, Jubilee, Piccadilly, Waterloo and City, Metropolitan Line District and Circle and the Elizabeth Line respectively. It is advisable that interested parties register on the Transport for London's e-tendering portal ProContract which can be found at the following address; https://procontract.due-north.com There is an early market engagement questionnaire attached and completed questionnaires are to be returned by the 3rd of March at 16.00. Any questionnaires returned after this time will not be reviewed. The contracting authority reserves the right to award the contract in whole or in part or not at all as a result of any call for competition. The contracting authority shall not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred by any bidders in responding to this notice or in tendering for the proposed contract(s). This PIN is issued solely for the purposes of the market engagement. No information contained in this PIN, or provided during and for the market engagement exercise, constitutes any commitment by TfL or any member of the TfL group or any of it's or their stakeholders to undertake any procurement exercise in the future.
