Leicester City Council is seeking to appoint suitably qualified contractor to install and maintain public lighting, signs, street furniture and festive decorations. Leicester City Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified contractor for the provision of maintenance and installation of public lighting, signs, street furniture and festive decorations. The contract will be for five and a half years, commencing on the 1.10.2020. The main purpose of this contract is to: — maintain the City’s public lighting infrastructure (including illuminated and non-illuminated traffic signs and bollards) in accordance with defined standards that are expected to rise throughout the contract, — prepare, install, maintain, remove and store of festive decorations for a range of events in the City through each year, — install new street furniture, e.g. guard rails, traffic signs, bollards and lighting, — make reactive repairs to street furniture. .
