Tender description

Public Health England (PHE) requires the provision of a rotor for its National Infections Service in Porton. The proposal must be able to deliver the g force necessary to concentrate the protein from a maximum volume. The rotor must be compatible with the Sorvall 100SE Discovery & WX Ultracentrifuge. The rotor will need to meet all the mandatory requirements listed below: - The rotor must be capable of 50,000x rpm or 301,032 xg - The rotor must have a centrifuge K factor of 68.7 - The rotor must not weigh more than 11.1kg - The rotor's radius no wider than 108mm - Be capable of holding tubes 12 x 36ml #03719 - The angle of the tubes must be 24° If you feel that you can meet the above requirements, please email dhavan.abiyani@phe.gov.uk The closing date and time for any queries is the 24th of February 2020 at 5.00 pm.
