Install a CCTV system at indoor and outdoor locations at the Cliffs of Moher

Tender description

Clare County Council requires the services of a security company licensed by the Private Security Authority (PSA) to install a CCTV system at indoor and outdoor locations at the Cliffs of Moher (CoM) Visitor Centre site, Liscannor, Co. Clare with a remote link from 2 offices at the CoM head office in Ennistymon, Co. Clare. The CCTV system will encompass the Visitor Centre building, the new coach park, the coach park reception building, the external walkways at the site and the car park and payment kiosks at the car park. The system comprises of a total of 122no IP cameras made up as follows; • 34no external new IP Dome Cameras with full polycarbonate housings. • 3no new IP PTZ (Pan-Tilt & Zoom) stainless steel cameras. • 57no new internal IP Dome Cameras. • 28no existing IP cameras to be retained and utilised in the new system. Use of existing camera stock is subject to the cameras being assessed during the install as being fully functional and fit for purpose on a per camera basis. The CoM cameras, internal & external, will be linked to a CCTV server by means of a fiber optic transmission system which has been installed by Clare Co. Co. at the site. The installation of the camera poles, power supplies and associated civil works is being undertaken by a separate contractor and all cabinets, fiber optic links and PoE SFP switches will be in place prior to the installation of CCTV equipment. The fiber optic and electrical contractors will liaise with the CCTV contractor during the cctv install works. Cat6 cabling for all cameras being installed internally in the CoM Visitor Centre will be in place with a data point(s) available at all internal camera locations. PoE switch are in place in proximity to all external camera locations.
