Engagement Workshop for Alternative Provision

Friday 28th February Friday 08:00am for 08:15am start - 10:00am Committee Room 6, Civic Centre, Victoria Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, SS2 6ER Southend on See Borough Council is seeking to engage with Providers to gain an understanding of the capacity and appetite in the market to deliver Alternative Provision within the borough. Alternative Provision (AP) is: 'education arranged by local authorities for pupils who, because of exclusion, illness or other reasons, would not otherwise receive suitable education; education arranged by schools for pupils on a fixed period exclusion; and pupils being directed by schools to off-site provision to improve their behaviour.'
