Tender description

NHS South of England Procurement Services (SoEPS), acting on behalf of Health Education England (HEE — the Commissioner) are commencing a tender for the provision of University Training Days for Educators in the East of England. Health Education England East of England (HEE EoE) is seeking to engage providers to deliver initial academic training sessions to underpin educational supervision as part of continuing professional development (CPD) for the East of England Clinical and Educational Supervisors (Clinicians). Health Education England East of England (HEE EoE) is seeking to engage providers to deliver initial academic training sessions to underpin educational supervision as part of continuing professional development (CPD) for the East of England Clinical and Educational Supervisors (Clinicians). The provider will be responsible for the delivery of: — face to face training sessions focused on realigning and updating the theoretical knowledge of trainee supervision, — evaluation of each training session and participating in the annual evaluation report run by HEE EoE. The initial contract period of 3 years will be a maximum value of 360 000 GBP exclusive of VAT. The authority retains the option to extend the contracts by up to a further 2 year period. This programme aims to deliver 1 000 educators per year for the first 3 years of the contract (following which any extension of the contract will have reduced numbers as per the specification). The authority will contract with up to 5 providers to fulfil this delivery.
