5-068 CD&A Technical support for SMA

Tender description

Highways England is looking to continue to engage specialist Technical support (to include specialist procurement support and advice) to support Highways England's internal contract development team ("Contract Development and Assurance" (CD&A)). Work is well underway to procure a replacement for the Collaborative Delivery Framework (CDF) to deliver the Smart Motorway Programme (SMP) through a new unique and innovative Smart Motorways Alliance (SMA). This renewal aims to support Highways England in delivering the ambitious programmes for RIS 1-3. Technical support is required to ensure that the Alliance contract is supported through the remainder of the tender process, and guidance and support given to the delivery team during mobilisation to deliver the aims and ambitions of the Alliance. This knowledge must be handed over to the business and operational teams and the Alliance who will be responsible for delivering the aims and objectives of the Alliance.
