Tender for Tenancy Deposit Scheme on behalf of the Government of Jersey

Tender description

The Government of Jersey wishes to appoint an organisation to set up and administer a tenancy deposit scheme (the ‘scheme administrator’). A tenancy deposit scheme has operated in Jersey since November 2015 and a new scheme administrator must be appointed by the end of the current 5-year contract on 31st October 2020. The tenancy deposit scheme is a compulsory legal requirement under the Residential Tenancy (Deposit Scheme) (Jersey) Regulations 2014. The Regulations provide the framework for a custodial scheme. The functions of the scheme Administrator are to: follow the financial and administrative requirements prescribed by the Regulations; determine the procedures by which the tenancy deposit scheme will operate; make available a dispute resolution service; and publicise the scheme to landlords, agents and tenants Tender Return Date: 5:00pm on Friday 6th March 2020.
