Support services for railway transport

Tender description

Network Rail intends to carry out a procurement exercise to establish a framework agreement for the delivery of project support services across the Southern Region. The services will be undertaken primarily within the Southern Region. However, the framework may also be extended to other parts of the UK Rail Network. The framework is intended to cover the provision of commercial services, project management services and programme controls services. The procurement exercise will be divided into 3 lots, comprising: commercial services, project management services and programme controls services. Network rail envisages that the initial duration of the framework will be 5 years, with options to extend by 3 further 1-year extensions (5 + 1 + 1 + 1). The provision of commercial services, including: cost planning and estimating, pre-contract management, post-contract management and claims assessment. The provision of project management services, including: development management, project management, construction management, constructability and logistics planning, engineering management and consents and sustainability. The provision of programme controls services, including: BIM services, project planning and risk and value management.
