Tender description

This document relates to ‘Dayworks Rates for Data Cabling Services’. The works would be mainly in relation to the installation of copper cabling, to the specifications of the Institute; however, some fibre cabling may be needed from time to time. The Cabling Contractor will mainly be required to carry out work at the Main Campus in Bishopstown as well as the some of the other campuses in Sharman-Crawford Street and Grand Parade (Crawford College of Art & Design), Union Quay (Cork School of Music) and Ringaskiddy (National Maritime College of Ireland). Actual daily working times to be agreed with Buildings & Estates Office, the normal range being within 08.00 - 18.00 hrs, Monday to Friday inclusive. Work activities outside normal times will require advance planning/notice, justification and approval.
