Dumfries and Galloway Council wish to procure care and support for people living in Dumfries and Galloway who have sight and hearing loss. The care and support will include volunteering support for people across Dumfries and Galloway with sensory loss to reduce social isolation. The service enables people with sensory loss to maximise their ability to live independent fulfilling lives. People living with a sensory impairment have support to achieve the outcomes outlined in the Scottish Government’s see hear strategy. That is people. — are better able to take part in society, — are able to make informed choices, — have equal access to education, employment and leisure, — fulfil their potential, — are able to live as independently as they choose, — live a fulfilling life in the way they choose.
