The authority has been successful in gaining grant funding from the Cultural Development Fund (CDF). The authority are exploring options to establish a creative industries support service. This Preliminary Market Consultation will explore how this could work and meet the needs of our local sector, achieve value for money and contribute to delivering an economic outcome for residents of North East Lincolnshire. There is a questionnaire to complete which is available at www.yortender.co.uk. Following reciepts of the questionnaires, we may invite providers to a market day on 24.2.2020. The authority aims to achieve the following objectives from this preliminary market consultation: — to identify opportunities and scope for the support and delivery of creative industries in North East Lincolnshire, — to learn from the market what the level of interest would be in leading and delivering a creative industries support service, — to understand the extent to which a creative industries support service is deliverable and the necessary amendments required and to understand the wider local benefits of a creative industries support service, including retaining the talent of locally trained young people via coaching and mentoring, setting up their own enterprise or finding local employment with creative industries.
