Appointment of quantity surveying services for Cork University Business School (CUBS) – New facility. The new CUBS building will provide c.17 000 m2 of space and will amalgamate and accommodate all components of the Cork University Business School which is currently dispersed at multiple locations on the UCC campus. Appointment of quantity surveying services for Cork University Business School (CUBS) – New facility. The deliverable is full quantity services services which will be detailed in the schedule of services to be issued at Stage 2 tender stage. A separate tender for a construction consultancy team to provide the full range of consultancy services for the delivery of the contract is presently ongoing. The new CUBS building will provide c.17 000 m2 of space and will amalgamate and accommodate all components of the Cork University Business School which is currently dispersed at multiple locations on the UCC campus. The project will facilitate the following: — new modern fit for purpose facilities, — the ability to foster innovative methods of teaching and learning, — the enhancement of dual learning capabilities, and — deepening industry collaboration and improving accessibility for students of all backgrounds. The consultants are to include for a feasibility study/capacity study/masterplan for the entire site. While the CUBS facility will be c.17 000 m2, the site has likely capacity for far more. The additional space will likely be for other educational or accommodation use.
