Tender description

The contract will extend to the protection of the infrastructure and estate assets that house its core departments such as the Town Hall Complex, Libraries, Parks and public spaces, Schools, museums, markets, cemeteries and community based projects. — provision of staff for mobile patrols, — keyholding and alarm response duties, — investigation and verification of alarms including fire, — open/close/lock/unlock activities at a range of locations, — critical location guarding and access control, — asset protection guarding and access control, — temporary asset protection, — control room staffing and CCTV monitoring, — car park monitoring and control, — first aid support, — emergency and evacuation duties, — incident reporting and design/maintenance of assignment instructions, — conducting security risk assessments of all locations, — provision of a uniformed security service in compliance with legal and statutory constraints, — supply of ad-hoc and emergency uniformed security personnel, — regular deployment of general-purpose dogs with trained handlers, — supervision and management of SIA licensed personnel. Manguarding within areas currently identified by the Council as ‘critical locations’ These locations are currently identified by the Council as requiring ‘Asset protection Guarding' Custodian patrols within parks, cemeteries and public spaces. Supporting the alarm receiving centre with the response solely to alarm outputs across the estate.
