AHDB Exports is looking for a mandarin, (Capacity for English) PR and marketing representative in China for British beef, pork, lamb (once access is granted) and dairy products. The successful representative will have the expertise and experience to identify the right priority market segments and ability to devise the best local strategy to achieve effective market growth. Responsible for delivering agreed campaigns, including both online and social media channels as well as traditional media and events if appropriate, with AHDB, to increase awareness of British meat and dairy products to help drive value and volume sales. The representative/agency must be based or have a commercial office in mainland China. The successful representative will have the expertise and experience to identify the right priority market segments and ability to devise the best local strategy to achieve effective market growth. Responsible for delivering agreed campaigns, including both online and social media channels as well as traditional media and events if appropriate, with AHDB, to increase awareness of British meat and dairy products to help drive value and volume sales, the successful representative will be expected to: — liaise closely with the AHDB Exports team, to agree and update on activity and provide the latest market intelligence and insights, — identify and develop priority market channels for British, beef, pork, lamb (once access is granted) and dairy products, — effectively maintain and build new relationships with relevant contacts in China. Where appropriate, work jointly with them to increase market exposure and demand for British beef, pork, lamb (once access is granted) and dairy products, — devise and implement effective local strategies to promote British beef, lamb, pork and dairy products aimed at increasing awareness and brand loyalty, — devise and implement online and social media strategy in conjunction with AHDB central teams to raise awareness of British beef, pork lamb (once access is granted) and dairy products, — act as a brand ambassador for British produce, — liaise with central AHDB staff in areas such as media, PR, digital.
