AHDB is looking to develop awareness in the USA of the ‘Red Tractor’ brand, along with the QSM and (PGI) West Country via the methods of public relations and market development. Activities will include press articles following events, therefore the agency must demonstrate a deep knowledge of meat distribution in the food service sector and strong experience in terms of marketing imported fresh and frozen meat into the USA. The agency must also have good contacts with meat specialized food journalists, food writers and other key opinion formers. Areas covered: — NY/NJ/Pennsylvania, — California, — Florida, — Washington DC. AHDB is looking for a PR agency to help develop awareness in the USA of British Read Meat and how it is produced; followed by the promotion of the ‘Red Tractor’ brand, the QSM beef and lamb and the protected geographical indication (PGI) West Country (beef and lamb).The successful agency must be able to demonstrate a deep knowledge of fresh meat distribution in the food service sector in all of the regions that are mentioned within the scope and must have strong experience and expertise in terms of marketing imported fresh/frozen meat in USA. Finally, the agency must have good contacts with meat specialised food journalists, food writers and other key opinion formers.
