Multi Operator Framework for Provision of Bin Collection Services from Monaghan County Council Premises

Monaghan County Council proposes to engage in a competitive process for the establishment of a multi operator framework agreement for the provision of waste collection services in Monaghan County Council’s administrative area this framework relates to the waste collection service from Monaghan County Council premises. The Framework Agreement will be established with up to 5 economic operators. Thereafter contracts will be awarded in accordance with the rules contained herein. The framework agreement will be established on foot of a competition for an initial contract the provision of wheelie bins, and the disposal of dry mixed recyclables, general waste and compost/biodegradable to all Council offices, Libraries and Fire Stations for a one year period. Details of locations are provided in Section 2.3. The initial contract will be awarded to the successful tenderer shortly after the formal establishment of the framework agreement. In addition to the terms and conditions of the Framework, the terms and conditions set out in Appendix 2 will relate to the initial contract. Where there is a conflict, the terms and conditions of the framework agreement shall take precedence.
