This prior information notice (PIN) is to alert the market that UKAEA intends to tender for the design, manufacture and installation of up to 4 gyrotrons and their necessary support and subsystems (if applicable) and invites expressions of interest and asks prospective contractors to provide information; within a 2-week time frame, on the feasibility and rough order of magnitude (ROM) costs associated with the project. UKAEA will host a webinar event which will include a Q&A session for responders to this PIN — webinar details are contained within the RFI and any further details will be published on EU Supply CTM no later than 48 hours before 13.00/19.2.2020 (https://uk.eu-supply.com/login.asp?B=UK — search for ‘PIN for Gyrotron’ or CTM number: ‘38957’).
