Tender description
The royal Borough of Greenwich wants to enable local companies to bid for contracts and offer jobs to local people. It is also committed to working with business to achieve best value when it buys products, services or work to meet the needs of its resident. Therefore, we are pleased to invite Local SMEs and Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise organisations to our afternoon SMEs and VCSE organisation workshop on ‘winning work with the Royal Borough of Greenwich’. This session will give you an insight into what the Council requirements are and how to bid for their contracts, both small and large. It’s aimed at business owners and those with responsibility for business development to help you increase your success and grow your business. EVENT DATE - Thursday 27th February. More information will be provided once the application form has been completed and sent via the portal. How to register for the workshop Interested local SMEs and VCSEs organisations must first be registered on this e-tendering Suite. If your organisation have not yet registered on the e-tendering Suite, this can be done online at https://royalgreenwich.proactishosting.com/ and click on the tap ‘supplier registration’ Once you have registered on the e-Tendering Suite, a registered user can register for the Workshop, look at the ‘opportunities’ sections, click on the opportunity titled “Local SMEs and VCSE organisations Workshop” and register your interest by clicking the green button on the right. Once you have registered your interest please message via the portal messaging system to request a form to complete to confirm your place. Please note this is ONLY for companies within the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The maximum number of attendees for this Workshop is 30 people therefore; each organisation will be allowed only one person to register. This will be based on a first come, first serve basis. Those who have registered early and fall within the first 30 persons will receive an email from us to confirm their place on the workshop. For those organisations which fall outside the maximum 30 people, we intend to keep a record so they will be given priority in the next workshop.
