Tender description

The North Kesteven District Council (the Council) is seeking to identify, as part of the procurement process, a suitable contractor(s) to enter into a contract with for the provision of the services to secure an effective insurance programme that meets the Council's requirements to ensure protection against its exposures from its activities and in line with its risk strategy and appetite. Tenders are invited for the supply of the services for the Council covering the lots described below and as detailed within Appendix 3 specification document covering the following risks: Lot 1: Property Owners (Housing and Commercial); Lot 2: Operational Property and Ancillary Coverage; Lot 3: Casualty; Lot 4: Fidelity Guarantee; Lot 5: Motor; Lot 6: Leasehold; Lot 7: Computer; Lot 8: Cyber; Lot 9: Terrorism Lot 10: Legal Expenses; Lot 11: Fine Art; Lot 12: Engineering and Inspection. The contractor(s) shall be responsible for providing the services, liaising closely with the Council's contract manager; Gillian Jones and their brokers; The Risk Factor Ltd. The contract(s) will be let for an initial period of 3 years intended to commence on 1.6.2020 with the option to extend for 2 further periods of 1 year up to a maximum contract period of 5 years. Tenderers must be regulated/authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and/or the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in order to be eligible to participate in this tendering opportunity. Tenders may be submitted for 1, for several or for all of the lots. Tenderers may submit only 1 packaged bid as part of their tender submission. Contract(s) shall be awarded to 1 or multiple tenderer(s).
