Fleet management, repair and maintenance services

Tender description

The contracting entity intends to establish a framework arrangement(s) under which it shall appoint an economic operator(s) to enter into a framework agreement(s) for the supply and maintenance of fleet vehicles. The requirement is split into 3 lots: Lot 1: Supply and Maintenance of Vehicles; Lot 2: Supply of Vehicles; Lot 3: Maintenance of Vehicles. The procedure for award of lots is detailed within VI.3). A framework agreement(s) will be awarded for a period of 5 years with an option, exercisable entirely at the discretion of the contracting entity and subject to the terms of the framework agreement, to extend by a further optional period of up to 3 years, with a total potential duration of 8 years. The contracting entity estimates that the total spend under the framework agreement, based on current requirements for the initial contract period of 5 years is: Lot 1: 16 680 760 GBP; Lot 2: 12 510 570 GBP; and Lot 3: 4 170 190 GBP. Lot 1: Supply and maintenance of fleet vehicles – combined requirements of the supply and pre-delivery fit out of fleet vehicles and also the service, maintenance, inspection and repair of vehicles. If this lot is awarded, it will be awarded to one organisation/entity. Supply of fleet vehicles. This lot includes the supply and pre-delivery fit customisation of fleet vehicles. Maintenance of fleet vehicles. This lot includes routine maintenance and inspection of vehicles on a fully managed service basis.
