Tender description

To provide facilities management to our compartmental fire behaviour training Unit at Cardiff Gate Training Centre. SWFRS will be seeking a supplier that can provide the resources necessary to ensure the facilitating and maintenance of a CFBT facility and ancillary buildings. This will include: — providing hard and soft facilities management services for the facility and associated buildings and land, — provide for the setting up, operation and monitoring of training scenarios/burns, — the management of specialist contractors in relation to any planned maintenance works or major replacement works to specialist equipment not included with the FM service. Specialist equipment would include the exhaust extraction system within the CFBT facility which is supplied and installed by Haagen. Further details of the scope of the service will be provided in the ITT where proposals will be sought from the Supplier based on our output specification. The term of the contract will be co-terminus with the Cardiff Gate Training Facility PFI Agreement which expires 30.9.2030.
