Wexford Local Development is inviting tenders for equipment and technology for the development of a Community Training Hub at the Spawell Road Office. This tender forms part of a Leader Funding Application. Wexford Local Development is a community-based organisation, committed to making a positive impact across the county by promoting employment, promoting inclusion, support enterprise and addressing inequality. The Community Training Hub is part of the WLD strategic plan2020 – 2025 and will be used by individuals and groups who are the most marginalized and from the most disadvantaged areas and communities within Co. Wexford. It will provide accessible, flexible training at local level to increase engagement in order to overcome fundamental barriers to participating which include low confidence negative prior experience of education, transport etc. It will target those who are least likely to avail of mainstream services and who have not benefited from mainstream education.
