Engineering Consultancy Services to undertake a Transport Related Assessment for Future development on lands at Bothar an Choiste and at Merlin.

Tender description

Galway City Council propose to develop Residentially Zoned lands at locations within its jurisdiction and to appoint a suitable consultant to undertake a Transport Related Assessment to advance these proposals. The assessment shall review and make a recommendation(s) on the standard and location of access / egress roads to be provided. The consultant will also consider the existing road network / network capacity to facilitate development of the plan areas and surrounding lands. The feasibility of the proposed options will be reviewed and an outline of the construction costs will be described. This assessment recommendations will also inform the procurement of a design team to develop future upgrade works design at these locations and oversee the implementation of same.
