Tender description

To manage and control stray dog incidents within the Borough in accordance with the requirements laid out in section 149 (1) – (11) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990. Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council are leading the procurement process to establish a manageable and workable contract to deliver a framework for the seizure of straying dogs and dog warden services. Stockport, Tameside and Bury are to make an immediate call-off but the framework will remain open to the listed Greater Manchester local authorities who will be able to call-off the framework at any time throughout the framework period.
