Tender description
NHSBT hosts services and hardware in 2 co-located data-centres with a tier 3 data centre provider to give a high level of redundancy and high speed interconnects to support both mission-critical business services and standard IT infrastructure supporting virtualised environments and other services. The mission critical services include dedicated hardware supporting our main blood management system (Pulse) and systems that support organ donation and transplantation and our clinical services directorates. The managed services provided under this contract include the hosting of hardware, supply of services including power and cooling and intelligent hands services as required. Data centre co-location and managed services.
