Tender description

Bolsover District Council is inviting suitably qualified contractors to tender for the provision of various construction roles to support our major construction schemes over a 4-year period. Lot 1: Managing Agent; Lot 2: Principle Designer; Lot 3: Quantity Surveying Services; Lot 4: All Roles. These roles will be to support a 4-year programme of new council house build, but may be used for other projects during this term. Bidders are required to opt for bidding for 1 or more lots. BDC wish the appointed managing agent to work closely with the Council’s clerk of works to ensure that the appointed construction partner, administer and deliver the project in accordance with the building contract. The managing agent will be involved from the design phase of new projects and will be expected to give informed opinion on costs and construction methods. BDC wish the appointed PD to work closely with the Council’s Clerk of Works to ensure that the appointed construction partner, administer and deliver the project in accordance with the building contract. The PD will be involved from the design phase of new projects and will be expected to give informed opinion on costs and construction methods to ensure BDC achieve the highest level of health and safety compliance possible. BDC wish the appointed QS to work closely with the Council’s Clerk of Works to ensure that the appointed construction partner, administer and deliver the project in accordance with the building contract. The QS will be involved from the design phase of new projects and will be expected to give informed opinion on costs and construction methods to ensure BDC achieve the highest quality alongside capturing efficiencies wherever possible.
