Application of Traditional Surfacing, Surface Patching, Hand Patching and Hot Rolled Asphalt Chipper and Team.

Tender description

Lancashire County Council is seeking to establish a Framework Agreement to appoint suppliers who can deliver teams and necessary equipment to deliver traditional surfacing, surface patching, hand patching and hot rolled asphalt chipper's, to supplement the authority's own highways work force as required. The Framework will be structured into 5 lots as follows: • Lot 1 - Full Paving team (Paver Machine) • Lot 2 - Machine Patching Team (Mini Paver) • Lot 3 - Machine Patching Team (Full Size Carriageway Paver) • Lot 4 - Hand Patching Team • Lot 5 - Hot Rolled Asphalt Chipper & Team Additional information: Tenderers can apply for any combination of the stated Lots. There will be no maximum number of economic operators for each Lot. Contracts will be awarded as a ranked framework for each lot based on the most competitive returns (1st, 2nd, 3th, 4th etc.). Rankings will remain in place for the initial year, then will be competed for on an annual basis. 1st Place contractor will be offered all work for the Lot they are ranked 1st, only if the 1st ranked contractor cannot perform the work will any work be offered to the 2nd placed sub contractor, then 3rd placed etc., on the same basis. Tenderers must be able to supply all products and service as listed or suitable equivalents and are expected to work within Lancashire Highway Services operational areas.
