Tender description

The development will consist of changes to the elevations, new staff car parking spaces and drop-off, a single storey extension to the existing staff room, the construction of a two storey addition containing an autistic spectrum disorder classroom base, store and an assisted wc/shower on the ground floor; one classroom, staff toilets, cleaners store and special education teaching room on the first floor, connection to the existing waste water disposal system and all associated site works. Tenderers must sign the "DoES Suitability Declaration for Small Works" available at www.education.ie and if requested to do so must provide the necessary evidence of compliance stated in the document within 7 days, including evidence of annual turnover greater than 1,5 times the sum tendered, and Health & Safety competence. The Contract is intended to be awarded to a single main contractor. If a group of contractors apply as a group or joint venture and are successful, either a lead contractor must be nominated who will be responsible for providing the service or a Joint Venture must be formed with whom the Awarding Authority will sign the contract.
