Tender description

NRW is seeking to award a contract for the supply of a single new sidescan system, with acoustic positioning system and associated peripherals. The full specification of requirements is at Annex 1 (Specification of Requirements) of this ITT. The purpose of the requirement is to create images of the seabed that can then be used to create variety of maps of seabed features. This will help deliver better management of Marine N2K sites through improved monitoring, site condition reporting of benthic features such as reef or habitats such as horse mussel, honeycomb reef, seagrass beds and maerl.
