<p>Burnley Borough Council has, as part of a partnership with East Lancashire Community Safety Partnership, been successful in a bid to the Home Office&rsquo;s Safer Streets Fund. The Funding&rsquo;s purpose is to deliver schemes with the aim of reducing acquisitive crime in areas with high crime rates. This can be through physical interventions or community engagement. As part of this funding the Council is looking to commission the delivery of a bespoke home security package to approximately 600 properties within the project areas of Burnleywood and Bank Hall, Burnley. Properties will be identified by the Safer Streets Steering group. The contractor will be responsible for making contact with residents/landlords and arranging appointments.
