Tender description

This procurement seeks a Contractor to contain, collect, transport and temporarily house for up to 21 days stray horses that come to police notice within the Metropolitan Police area. The Contractor will be on call twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, three hundred and sixty five days per annum (24/7/365). After a period of twenty-one (21) days if no owner is located, then the Contractor is to take ownership of the animal(s) from this time onwards. The Services relate to the rights under Section 24 and Section 25 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 ('the 1847 Act') wherein "cattle" includes horses.
