Tender description

The National University of Ireland Maynooth seek tenders for the provision of robotic platforms, drone, LIDAR systems and sensors. This competition is divided into eight lots. Lot 1: One (1) Passenger capable autonomous 4 wheel drive platform; Lot 2: Two (2) Lightweight autonomous 4 wheel drive platforms; Lot 3: One (1) Drone integrated with LiDAR System; Lot 4: One (1) Compact LiDAR system; Lot 5: One (1) Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping (SLAM) based LiDAR system; Lot 6: One (1) Plug and play LiDAR system; Lot 7: One (1) Medium Format Camera (100 MP or better); Lot 8: One (1) Hyperspectral sensor. Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery and installation of one passenger capable autonomous 4 wheel drive platform. These steerable self-propelled platforms should have the ability to be operated remotely and autonomously within a research environment. These platforms will be used for research and development on-campus at Maynooth University (MU) — typical scenarios will include researching various localisation, navigation and mapping methodologies around the playing fields, car-parks and segregated paths between University buildings. Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery and installation of two lightweight autonomous 4 wheel drive platforms. These steerable self-propelled platforms should have the ability to be operated remotely and autonomously within a research environment. These platforms will be used for research and development on-campus at Maynooth University (MU) — typical scenarios will include researching various localisation, navigation and mapping methodologies around the playing fields, car-parks and segregated paths between University buildings. Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery and installation of one (1) drone platform, capable of beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operation with a minimum range of 5 km, equipped with a suitable LiDAR system (and GNSS/INS) to carry out autonomous aerial survey below 120 m above ground level (AGL). This system will be used to acquire high-resolution, high-quality 2.5D point cloud cover data.
