Hiring of Production Lighting Services

Tender description

The BBC is seeking to establish a framework of supplier’s for a fully managed service, to include wet hire, dry hire and qualified electrical agency staff, for the provision of lighting equipment and associated staff to the BBC and its subsidiaries. Tenderers must demonstrate the ability to offer comprehensive technical support across the full range of products, which will include applications advice specific to broadcast environments. A high quality, value for money service is required. Tenderers are encouraged to provide cost effective, energy efficient deliverables in energy use and generation to complement the BBC Production Sustainability initiatives. Examples include the use of cold lighting and light-emitting diode (LED’s) and hybrid energy sources.
