Tender description

BEIS intends to undertake a market engagement exercise to gather feedback and raise awareness of an upcoming procurement for the Offshore Petroleum Regulator for Environment and Decommissioning (OPRED), part of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). The future procurement exercise will seek to ensure OPRED has continued access to independent specialist consultancy advice and support from oil and gas decommissioning specialists. This procurement exercise will be required to ensure the Offshore Petroleum Regulator for Environment and Decommissioning (OPRED) has continued access to specialist independent consultancy advice and support from oil and gas decommissioning specialists. The scope of services will cover the provision of advice in relation to all legal requirements on the OPRED website (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/oil-and-gas-offshore-environmental-legislation) along with the requirement to provide specific engineering services, such as the provision of decommissioning cost estimates. The contract will be awarded for up to 5 years in total and this is inclusive of any extension options.
