Providing water filters across the site for taps and showers. St Georges have multiple buildings on site with a wide range of age. Some of the older buildings due to the outdated infrastructure have multiple legionella positive detection. Currently Lanesborough, Grosvenor and St James Wing are considered to have systemic issue. As one of the preventative measures, Point Of Use Filters are in place until the infrastructure can be upgraded and legionella detection reduced to almost negligible. POU filters are also across site where legionella detection is high. Managing scheduled POU filter replacement task is crucial. Hence filters with track and trace capability through barcode/QR code technology is the approach the trust would like to take. Currently there are approximately 3 000 filters active across site. The life cycle of filter dictates the scheduled tasks carried out; hence a longer life filter can be beneficial. The filter requirements will drop as systemic issues are resolved and legionella detection reduce; we also have 295 POU shower f
