Award of Tintern Abbey Rope Access Works

Tender description

This is the award notice for the contract for the delivery of rope access works required at Tintern Abbey. The works were required to make Tintern Abbey safe and accessible for visitors and members of the public and to improve the structural integrity and visual presentation to the inaccessible high level areas above 2 metres from local ground level of the monument. This will be achieved through the selective treatment, removal and clearance of weeds & damaging vegetation, application of consequential re pointing and selective consolidation of the historic masonry fabric using rope access.
