Award of Caerphilly Silt Trap Maintenance and Bank Stabilisation Works

Tender description

This is the award notice for the maintenance of the moat and bank stabilisation works at Caerphilly castle. The works were required as the silt trap at the inlet to the moat had become full, allowing silt to pass into the moat itself. The works involved excavating out accumulated material from the silt trap, dredging and restoration and strengthening of a section of bank.
