The Construction Professionals Skillnet is a network which provides funded training and development solutions specifically for the construction industry. Our objective is to support the development and growth of construction businesses by working with them to identify and address their skills needs. The Skillnet is promoted by its contracting organisation CIF. The Construction Professionals Skillnet is co-funded by Skillnet Ireland and member companies. Skillnet Ireland is funded from the National Training Fund through the Department of Education and Skills. This RFT is for delivery of QQI’s Level 6 Business Management. The programme should be designed to enable participants to successfully achieve the QQI Level 6 Business Management (whilst taking into account Covid-19). Each tenderer must complete the tender details (Appendix II) and company details (Appendix III) – Tenders submitted without this cover sheet will be rejected The detailed instructions regarding the format and requirements of this RFT are set out in Appendix I. These instructions must be observed to ensure the completeness and eligibility of the tender. The award will be established using the following awarding criteria: Criterion Maximum Score Available % Cost 300 30% Programme & Methodology 400 40% Relevant qualifications for and experience in delivering comparable programme to the construction sector, including at least 2 references. 300 30% Total Maximum Score 1,000 100% The programme will commence in Feb 2021 and may be run a number of times during 2021 and 2022 to eligible participants. The number of times the programme will run will be subject to levels of interest in the programme and the availability of funding at the time of request. A contract for the delivery of training will be awarded to the most economic, advantageous tender (MEAT), evaluated using the specific weighting criteria. A service level agreement will need to be completed between the Skillnet and the Tenderer.
