Talk Learn Do Training

Tender description

The requirement is for a provider to deliver training to practitioners and professionals who work with/and support parents, to enable them to deliver an existing financial capability module (‘Talk Learn Do’) to parents they support. This module is designed to support parents to talk to their children about money and has been proven to be effective when embedded in parenting programmes. While MAS is interested in wider development of parent support in the long term the purpose of this tender is to secure a training provider to fulfil an immediate need for up to ten practitioner training sessions using existing materials in Feb/Mar 2019. The goals of this project are to: • Use a pre-designed and evaluated financial capability training module (Talk Learn Do) to deliver training to professionals and practitioners who work with/support parents • In so doing, equip these professionals with the knowledge and skills required to deliver the parent-facing to support parents on how to talk to their children about money • Understand more about the potential applicability of the Talk Learn Do training module to practitioners and professionals who work with/support parents outside of structured parenting programmes
