Tender description

National Grid intends to tender for the provision of gas capacity and balancing — services and systems. A request for information (RFI) is due to be issued during January/February 2021. Following completion of the RFI, NG intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) in March/April 2021. This timeline is indicative and may be subject to change. The tender will enable tenderers to bid for one or more of the following: • full capacity and balancing services and system provision; or • capacity services and systems only; • capacity and balancing services and systems only; • additional services (including invoicing, credit risk management and user admissions). Note: systems provision will include hosting/infrastructure, as well as software maintenance and support. It is a condition of supplying to National Grid that suppliers are registered on the Achilles Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB).
