Tender description

Scottish Water is seeking to appoint suppliers for the supply of appropriate skips/or containers, collection and disposal/recycling of associated waste. The supplier will be required to supply suitable containers to meet individual site requirements, hold a Waste Carrier’s Licence and conform to relevant legislation and codes of practice. Suppliers will be responsible for identifying suitable recycling/disposal locations which should be located within an appropriate distance of Scottish Water sites whenever possible to reduce the carbon impact. Suppliers will be required to comply with Scottish Water’s Scrap Metal Policy and agree a method of measurement for the income from recycling scrap metal which will be reimbursed to Scottish Water. This framework will be split into lots. Skips and scrap metal removal in the North Area of Scottish Water Sites. Provision of skips and scrap metal in the South area for Scottish water. Provision of Skips and Scrap Metal in the East area of Scottish Water sites. Provision of skips and scrap metal in the West area of Scottish Water sites. Provision of Recycling Bins Pan Scotland.
